UW Oshkosh Children’s Learning and Care Center was established in 1971 and exists to provide quality child care for children of UW Oshkosh students, employees and the community. The Center affirms the University’s inclusive excellence initiative which focuses on fostering greater diversity, equity, inclusion and accountability. It’s the Center’s policy to administer all educational programs, related support services and benefits in a manner that ensures diverse learning environments, which are vital to children’s growth, learning and achievement.
Open House and Orientation Dates
You are welcome to visit the Children’s Center at any time for an orientation. We want both you and your child to feel safe, secure and welcome in our program. We encourage you to come and spend time with your child at the Children’s Center anytime and/or attend one of our open houses.
Our Center will be closed on the following holidays
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Our Center will also be closed one day in August (to be determined) for Staff Professional Development.
